What is good and bad in Access 125?
-
Access 125 Positives
Manages to put out the same power as before despite being BS6 compliant, Still one of the most refined scooters in India, Superb ride quality -- soaks up bumps really well.
-
Access 125 Negatives
External fuel-filler cap isn’t exactly convenient. It still requires you to get off the scooter to unlock it, Brakes are not as sharp as some of its competition, The design is starting to feel dated.

22/02/2022 completed 3 years with my bs4 suzuki access 125cc scooter, And believe it or not it is the best 125cc scooter that you can get in the indian market.Overall ride quality and performance are a blend of pure ride and comfort. The riding posture is adequate for all types of riders. It is quite compact which gives you the confidence for better maneuverability. In 3 years i have not felt even a single vibration coming from the scooter. My daily commute is 60km and the scooter tends to deliver me the average for the same which is quite nice for a powerful 125cc scooter and better than most 110cc scooters available in the markets.Cons: one disadvantage that i personally feel is that access can get more weight because sometimes on high speeds plus on bumpy roads the scooter tends to get disbalance and most of the time on speed-breakers it jumps.Overall after-sale service is also great from suzuki. They wisely treat customers but sometimes take a lot more time to service. Conclusion: if you really want to get a punchy performance from your access 125 then get it timely serviced (between every 2500km-3000km).

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Access 125
- For the availability and prices of the spare parts, we'd suggest you to connect with the nearest authorized service center. Click on the link and select your desired city for service centers. On the other hand, the mileage of Suzuki Access 125 is 57.2 2 kmpl. This is the claimed ARAI mileage for all the variants of Access 125.
- The mileage of Honda Activa 6G is 60 Kmpl. This is the claimed ARAI mileage for all the variants of Activa 6G. On the other hand, the mileage of Suzuki Access 125 is 57.2 2 kmpl. This is the claimed ARAI mileage for all the variants of Access 125.
- You may go for a big sized tyre but upsizing the size of a tyre is increasingly becoming an obsession with people to create an added visual appeal to their scooter. Moreover, It is advisable to go for an upgrade anywhere between the 3% margin for better performance and handling, increased grip and creating a visual appeal. Do take note that upsizing the wheels and tyres may decrease the fuel efficiency of the scooter and may result in a speedometer error on the scooter if upsizing is not correct.
- I have a tvs ntorq race edition and the mileage really sucks.I hardly get a mileage of 32 kmpl and also there are many problems as reported by many users of ntorq including starting problem. The features of instrument cluster are also useless and not practical. The seat is very small and uncomfortable for a pillion. The body is of low quality fiber not of ABS quality or metal. If you need performance go for a bike instead of a scooter because scooter is for practicality not for performance. So for long term activa is a 100% safer option. Suzuki burgman street and access are also great options and value for money as they are comfortable and practical scooter, most importantly they are very fuel efficient. I am also planning to sell my ntorq and buy a burgman street because for performance I already have a duke 250.
- Riding ntorq gives you enthernal feel that you wont get in activa...activa is for mileage and Ntorq is for speed...activa looks like ordinary scooter where as ntorq looks very sporty...depends on what you are looking for in a scooter..Ntorq is made up of fibre but not bad quality ..mileage depends on road and how you ride it...its good when road is good..
- Activa 125 bs6 is a safer option as compared to ntorq.the built quality and mileage is better on activa 125. so go for activa blindly.
- Activa 6g and Jupiter bs6 both are very good..u are not buying any inferior one...check both the scooters in showroom and ask for a test drive..buy the one which you feel more comfortable... Avoid acess
- ACCESS IS THE BEST IN ITS CLASS .NO NEED TO AVOID .THIS IS MORE SUPERIOR THAN OTHERS.
- But they can solve your problem if you face it's a manufacturing problem for every 100 or 1000 bikes in every model
- Selecting between the Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125 and Aprilia SR 125 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, fuel type preference, maintenance costs, usability, etc. Honda Activa 125 gets an ACG silent starter, Offers 13 per cent (claimed) better fuel efficiency, Comes with Idling Stop System. It might not be thrilling to ride but with an extensive feature list, the Activa 125 ticks all the boxes of a family-oriented 125cc scooter. Suzuki Access 125 offers superb ride quality, a refined engine and manages to make the same power as before despite being BS6 compliant whereas seating comfort is always one of the top priorities while opting for a scooter. And on that front the Aprilia SR 125 is kind of a mixed bag. The seat is still a bit on the higher side. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision.
