Expert's Conclusion
The Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. While the Honda Activa in its 6G avatar comes close to the Jupiter in terms of features, the Jupiter still has the edge when it comes to pricing. We feel that TVS could have equipped the Jupiter with more features to offset the inevitable price hike. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale.

TVS Jupiter News Updates

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Jupiter
- Selecting the right bike/scooter would depend on certain factors such as your budget, fuel type preference, maintenance costs, usability, etc. The Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. While the Honda Activa in its 6G avatar comes close to Jupiter in terms of features, Jupiter still has the edge when it comes to pricing. We feel that TVS could have equipped Jupiter with more features to offset the inevitable price hike. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale. Whare as, the new list of updates on India’s most popular scooter has made the Activa 6G a more exciting proposition than before. However, the Activa 6G still misses out on some basic features which should have been standard by now. On the other hand, the Suzuki Access 125 BS6 has all the crucial updates to help it continue its streak of being the best-selling scooter in the 125cc segment. Sure it does have its own set of shortcomings but as an overall package, the Suzuki Access 125 BS6 is capable of holding its own in the competitive segment. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Yes, TVS Jupiter doesn’t promise mind-boggling performance or handling. What it promises is a plush, smooth ride and features that will make your mundane commutes a tad enjoyable. And if you are on the lookout for a scooter that you and your family could happily live with, the TVS Jupiter doesn’t fall short on any account. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. - Selecting between the TVS Jupiter and Jupiter 125 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, etc. The Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. It remains our pick as the best 110cc family scooter on sale. On the other hand, the Jupiter 125 does everything you’d expect from a 125cc family scooter, and some more. It’s got decent performance, handles well and it’s very comfortable too. But where it really stands out is with its comfort and convenience features, most of which are segment-leading, and almost make you wonder why no one else has implemented them before. Given that the Jupiter 125 comes better equipped at this price, we think it’s better value for money, and that might be enough to convince family-scooter buyers to give this newcomer a shot over its tried and tested competition. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Yes
- Yes ntorq is way more powerful enjoyable scooter. Because of their 12 inch wheels both front and rear.It is a best scooter for city usage and long riding.TVS got ramora tyres which is grippy. Ntorq biggest draw is its 'smart connect system' which allows the rider to use the TVS NTORQ APP & connect his/her smartphone to the scooter. This allows you to get access to all sorts of information such as call arerts,SMS alert, navigation assist and also access to 3 trip meter, lap timer,0 to 60 KMPH time, service reminder and many more. The ntorq makes 1.46bhp more than Jupiter.
- It depends on your preferences such as weight of bike, bluetooth navigation, seating comfort, how many people you will be taking, what distance you will be travelling, and so on. Please do not just blindly buy a bike based on ratings. Even if the bike is good you have to check if it will be good for you.
- Both are different tvs Jupiter is a practical machine and have better comfort and mileage and it is suited to all age groups.Ntorq is a sporty 125cc scooter and its looks polarizing it is a scooter made for youth it is a sports oriented scooter from TVS its strong point is performance and with many segment first features like Bluetooth connection and GPS, thought its downside is its mileage and less storage capacity. hence if you want a practical scooter and your budget is tight go for TVS Jupiter and if you want a performance motorcycle then go for Ntorq.
- Selecting between the Honda Activa 125, Honda Activa 6G and Jupiter Classic would depend on certain factors such as your budget, fuel type preference, maintenance costs, usability, etc. Honda Activa 125 gets an ACG silent starter, Offers 13 per cent (claimed) better fuel efficiency, Comes with Idling Stop System. The Honda Activa 125 BS6 does everything the previous scooter did and builds on it. In terms of practicality, comfort and reliability, few come as close as the Activa 125. It might not be thrilling to ride but with an extensive feature list, the Activa 125 ticks all the boxes of a family-oriented 125cc scooter. Moreover, Honda Activa 6G is a Refined engine, metal body, Honda brand value the new list of updates on India’s most popular scooter has made the Activa 6G a more exciting proposition than before. However, the Activa 6G still misses out on some basic features which should have been standard by now. On the other hand, Jupiter was and remains a fantastic alternative to the best-selling Honda Activa. - I am owing Jupiter right now purchased yesterday. So I calculated the mileage of 52kmpl by riding it in eco mode only without frequent acceleration and de acceleration . If you want comfortable ride with decent mileage and with less maintenance surely go for Jupiter. But If you want only mileage than go for activa if you can ride it under 40 kmph then it will definitely provide you better mileage than Jupiter
- Jupiter is said to give you 62 kmpl.and Activa is said to give you 60 kmpl.Real world mileage Of both is between 35-50 kmpl depends on how you Drive.PS: I got 50 kmpl on my Jupiter when i rode it at 40 kmph.
