Q. How much is the top speed of MT 15 BS4 & MT 15 BS6?
  • Mt accelerates faster till 110kmph but because of better aerodynamics R15 flies away after 110kmph on highway. R15 has no competition with the pickup of MT in the city and comfortable riding position. The rpm of both bikes redlines at 11300 rpm. The rpm of MT is not locked but because of bigger sprocket it accelerates faster and looses on top speed. Also the gearing of MT feels shorter than R15.

Q. Which one is better MT15 or NS200? And what is the mileage of NS200?
  • Among the two, we would suggest you to go with the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 if you are looking for a affordable sporty streetfighter. The bike employs a 199.5cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine. It churns out 24.5PS at 9750rpm and 18.5Nm at 8000rpm. The NS200 offers sporty handling, a smooth 6-speed gearbox and brilliant performance at an affordable price point. On the other hand, if you want better mileage, a versatile 155cc engine, compact design and attractive styling, then the Yamaha MT 15 would be a better option. However, the compact riding posture might be a bit too tight for large riders. What is also disheartening is the poor switchgear and build quality as well as the lack of dual-channel ABS. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - Bajaj Pulsar NS200 vs Yamaha MT 15

Q. Which is best XSR 155 or MT 15?
  • It would not be fair to give a verdict here as the Yamaha XSR 155 is yet to be launched. Moreover, if you are looking for a naked street bike which is sharp, is light, and can be a hoot to commute then the Yamaha MT 15 could be a good option. For the availability, we would suggest you to please connect with the nearest authorized dealership in your city as it depends on their stock book. • Really worth the price . The ride quality and its performance is just awesome. The mileage is good in respect to a 200cc motorcycle. I really loved it. It has a high seat which causes trouble for short riders like me, I am 5.5 ft tall and mostly struggles while taking you turns and at traffic signal stops otherwise every thing is fine. Further I could lower the seat height by adjusting suspension setup but the service center told me not to do it as the KTM company has set it by keeping balanced setup any changes in it can make it worse and reasult in a accident. I kept it as it is though I am struggling but as time passes I will get accustomed with it and learn the tricks and techniques to control the bike smoothly. I will recommend any below 5.5ft height should avoid choosing KTM bikes. Though below 5.5 ft height guys can drive the bike but its very difficult to cope up. I got a mileage of 40 kmpl on my daily commuits. The bike itself is a Beast. I love what ever i have got from ktm at the price point neglecting the height factor. I really love it.#Get Duked#Ready To Race

  • Excellent value for money motorcycle. This bike is an all rounder for any occasion , be it track days or touring or daily commutes ; this bike carries all the tasks with ease and tonnes of excitement when you twist your wrist. Maintenance is decent, it can feel expensive but the time intervals are at least 10000 Kms or Yearly wise. Cost can go up incase you crash the bike but parts are not too expensive or too cheap , they are always available at the SVCs. A wonderful package still and will not disappoint you if you're considering to get one.

  • Zero parts failure for two years so far. Great torque and responsiveness. My inseam at 840mm is perfect for the seat height. It has no ABS and I thought that would be a great feature to have and felt it should have been standard equipment for the price of the bike. I'm very impressed by the stock mrf tires so i changed to pirelli's after about 250 km.

  • KTM's all bikes designs are very attractive and futuristic. Duke200's engine performance is very good. But the pillion seat is just small. It is not comfortable for dual. It is very good under 200 variant bikes in India. It is very nice bike.

  • I am riding this bike for 2 months and the bike is just rocks. The bike is very powerful according to its segment, sometimes I feel that I am riding a 200cc bike or more. Some pros as per my views-1. Initial pickup is excellent.2. Midrange is mindblowing. Sometimes after midrange pull, you can feel, extra pickup..that might be because of VVA.3. At high-end it is smooth..Though I didn't test it beyond 100kmph. But at the high end, you don't feel any vibration.4. Sporty design. Look and feel is class in its segment.5. Clutch is very light. As MT15 has an A&S clutch, no rear wheel locking at high gear & low-speed combination, and aggressive downshifting.6. Front braking is awesome, the rear one is ok ok.7. mileage is good.8. Side stand engine cut-off feature enabled. Some cons as per my views--1. Front mudguard should be a little extended. The current one causes problems during the rainy season.2. The pillion seat should have a properly designed grab handles(The current one looks good but is not too useful). Also, the seat could be a little extended(Though most of the time I ride this bike with a pillion and we don't face any such problem. For two healthy persons, the seat length is not suitable for long rides).3. Yamaha should use some kind of radiator guards like KTM Or Dominar.Overall MT15 BS6 is a perfect choice.

  • Performance is good, The bike riding posture is straight and it will not harm your shoulders & back after long rides. The power of the bike is quite realistic and immeasurable, Mt gives an immense amount of power to be needed for daily use for city rides as well as on highways. The average is quite good, After your 3rd servicing, It will give an average of about 35 km/h. And, Lastly about it's looks- I had purchased mt15 ice fluo vermillion, I.E orange alloys with a white finish on the tank and trust me that look just awesome and this color variant of mt15 is eye-catching & once you take this on-road, Many people will stare your bike more than you. The headlamps are good, But when you will be riding this bike at night on highways, you will definitely feel the light's are not worth it. Anyway, Here's my small review about my mt15 ice fluo vermillion bs6 single-channel abs and one more thing, Mt seat is too small to fit for 3 riders, So tripling can be dangerous although, Rider and pillion seat is quite comfortable to thank you Yamaha for making us feel proud a proud mt owner.

  • It's good vehicle ,and fuel tank is a 10 L capacity for use in regular petrol octane level is 90,fuel reserve amount:2.2 L(0.58 us gal,0.48 imp.gal) you start the main switch for display Let's change it to the screen hi buddy,Welcome screen control mode The welcome screen greets you when the main switch is tumed on 'Hi Bud- dy', and when the main switch is turned off 'see you'. The user name 'Buddy' is set as the factory default, but it can be set to your name. To set the user name 1. Turn the main switch off. 2. Push and hold the 'RESET but-3. Turn the main switch on, and then release the 'RESET' button after four seconds. 4. When the first character starts flashing, push the 'SELECT' but- ton to change the character in the following order.

  • Everything Is Good In Terms Of Performance, Riding Dynamics,Features N Mileage. 1st Negative Point Yamaha Should Offer Dual Channel ABS because The Range Of This Motorcycle Is 1.40 Lakhs N Secondly The Most Important Feedback Is The Length Of Pillion Seat√ With Grab Rails N To Be Honest It's Really Pathetic. If This Issue Is Not Fixed Yamaha Will Definitely Disappoint All The MT15 Lovers N Will Regret It With The Company Sales For Sure.

  • Yamaha mt 15 is a complete package. The bike has everything that i wanted with a bike for a long and comfortable journey. The seats are very comfortable for both driver and pillion for a long drive. The bike is very slim and helps to drive at high speed and in traffic at ease.It has led drls, Headlight, And tail light which looks very good at night.I wished it had dual-channel abs but a single channel also works just fine.
