Bajaj Pulsar 150 Latest Updates

The asking price of the base version of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 is now nearing the Rs 1 lakh mark. The iconic motorcycle has become quite expensive in recent times with no real updates provided to the bike to justify the extra asking price. Here's more details on the new prices of the Pulsar models.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Engine

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 BS6 is powered by a 149.5cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected BS6-compliant engine. It makes 14PS at 8500rpm and 13.2Nm at 6500rpm. While the power remains the same, torque is down by 0.15Nm compared to the BS4 iteration. Bajaj hasn’t made any changes to its underpinnings. The updated Pulsar 150 still uses a telescopic fork at the front and twin shock absorbers for its suspension duties. A 260mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc handle braking duties paired with single-channel ABS. At 148kg, the kerb weight has gone up by 4kg.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Design

Bajaj hasn’t updated the design of the Pulsar 150 for a while now. Even in the BS6 iteration, it carries forward the same design cues as the older version. Both the paint options come with contrasting decals, giving the Pulsar 150 a sporty look.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Features

In terms of features, the Bajaj Pulsar 150 gets a semi-digital instrument console, which shows the fuel level, speed, odometer, trip meters and backlit switchgear. Single-channel ABS is offered as a standard fitment.

Bajaj Pulsar 150 Competitors

It competes against the updated TVS Apache RTR 160, Apache RTR 160 and the Honda CB Unicorn 150. While the Pulsar 150 and the CB Unicorn have remained similar to their predecessors, TVS has added a new GTT (Glide Through Traffic) feature. It already comes with a digital instrument console and LED DRLs.

  • It's pulsar that always have it's own style.Bajaj pulsar 150 gives me a smooth ride wheather it is on highway or a broken road.Nothing new to say for but it's pulsar which is always new.

  • Good only in terms of look. The only good thing is mileage. I am getting 65 kmpl. Lots of cons - bad suspension, & worst ride quality. Getting back pain if driving more than 20 min continuously.

  • Good bike, Only mantinance problem, Engine is better than 30 thousand killomiter runnin, After that bad

  • Bajaj pulsar 150 cc bike is awesome to drive and breaking is very supportive.This bike is very stable during driving on road.

  • It is a very good bike, It can also be used in sports bike, It is better than apache pulsar bike, Drive it more speed or less, It doesn't matter, Basics should not be very important.

  • It will not create any problems if you maintain it properly.Do not used things like extra loud horn ,extra decorative light etc.
  • Dual disc is better but it has lesser mileage than single disc variants due to thicker tyre.
  • Double disc will be better but keep in mind the absence of a kick starter.
