About Tata
History
Part of the gigantic Tata group founded by Jamsetji Tata in 1868, Tata Motors is one of the leading Indian car manufacturers. Established in 1945, Tata Motors’ diverse portfolio includes an extensive range of cars, sport utility vehicles, trucks, buses and defence vehicles. Jaguar and Land Rover; the two prestigious British car brands were acquired by Tata back in 2008.
Tata launched the Tata Indica in 1998; its first passenger car in India, which paved the way for the future models to come. Tata (Telco back then) was also responsible for bringing the three-pointed star (Mercedes-Benz) to India in 1995.
Product portfolio
Hatchback: Tata’s hatchbacks’ portfolio ranges from the Tiago to the Altroz.
Micro SUV: Tata offers the Punch as an entry-level micro SUV. It takes on the Mahindra KUV100 NXT and Maruti Ignis but due to its price, it also rivals the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
Sub-compact SUV: The Tata Nexon represents Tata in one of the most competitive SUV segments in the industry where it goes up against the likes of Kia Sonet, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Hyundai Venue.
EV: Tata ventured into the personal EV space with the Nexon EV which was then followed by the Tigor EV.
Mid-size SUV: With underpinnings derived from the Land Rover division, Tata offers the Tata Harrier and the Tata Safari as competitors to the mid-size 5-seater SUV segment and three-row SUV space, respectively.
Sedan: Successor to the Tata Zest, Tata Tigor is a sub-4 metre sedan offered by Tata which rivals the Hyundai Aura, Maruti Dzire, and Honda Amaze.
Greatest Hits
Tata’s top products in India have been:
Tata Safari: First made-in-India 4WD SUV, popular for its bold looks and off-road capabilities.
Tata Nano: At the time of launch, the Tata Nano was priced at Rs 1 lakh, making it the most affordable production car in the world.
Tata Nexon EV: Most affordable and practical long-range electric vehicle in its space.
Tata Indigo: A value for money proposition, Tata Indigo was one of the highest selling cars for Tata.
Tata Indica: India’s first fully indegenous vehicle, it ticked all the boxes for a hatchback at the time. It was also the most affordable diesel powered vehicle when it was launched in 1998
Tata Sumo: A rugged utility vehicle, Tata Sumo was the go-to car capable of taking on rural territories with ease.
Future Plans
Tata has shown great zeal towards electrification of its portfolio, as it’s the only brand with two electric vehicles available in the market at the moment. Tata Motors plans to have 10 EVs in its portfolio by 2025, which will include the Altroz EV and the Punch EV.

Nexon4.4839 reviews
2 years since i bought the nexon.Xz+o amazing driving experience, Good power, Love the sports mode. The city drive is adequate in busy roads.Nothing to complain about the comfort level.Which is really good.Gives a good presence on the road and a good visibility too.The seats are comfy and wonderful for long rides too with the cruise control. The worst thing is when we start the car in the morning. The gear box is a bit stuff.Bmwhat i love the most.Is the handling and the sound system.Overall performance is excellent build quality excellent.Vibration.At low speed is there a little. But not a major problem.Pickup is good.Mileage is good. But can be improved.Features are excellent. The sound, Cruise, Parking assist, Ira.All of it.The service experience for me was good till now.Professional and quick service.Overall it is one of the best options to consider.

It is a good car with very good space. Everything is nice I'm totally satisfied after buying the car. The build quality is awesome. Except for AWD(All-wheel drive), it should've been RWD(Rear-wheel drive).

Altroz4.4543 reviews
Driven 5000km in 4 months. 1. Exterior- It looks fantastic, everyone around me appreciates how it looks. Head turner (mine is dual-tone Red + black roof) 2. Interior- Feel premium, fit and finish touchscreen, instrument cluster, ambient lighting and everything feels absolutely beautiful. You will appreciate the top end feel every time you enter inside. 3-Harmon Music System- Cherry on Top. It is even better than my home music system JBL 5.1. 4-Average - I mostly drive on the highway and gives me 18kmpl which means 6 Rs per km which is good. Hope petrol prices will go below 100 Rs. 5-Engine - I have driven with full luggage and 5 people but still I don't think it is underpowered. But yes engine is a little noisy. 6- Suspension and ride quality - 450km in 8 hr drive, Suspension, the best and you will love to drive this on corners.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is the ideal small family car. Its spacious, practical, efficient and offers a convenient automatic with both engine options. On the other hand, if you are looking for, a low compromise drive experience with a CNG powertrain, then the Tiago CNG can surely be a strong contender. Its driving dynamics, ride comfort, and features list is similar to that of its petrol counterpart and quite commendable. Moreover, for a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city and brand for dealership

Both the cars are good in their forte. The Punch pulls off muscular SUV-like looks, high ground clearance along with an easy-to-drive hatchback -experience. Impressive cabin quality, clever customization options make it even more appealing. It is a sensible package that focuses on useful equipment like auto headlamps and wipers, electric folding wing mirrors, cruise control, and connected car tech highlight a sensible features list. 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. On the other hand, The facelifted Tiago NRG borrows the standard model’s 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre petrol motor. Facelifted Tata Tiago NRG is packed with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen Harman infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted audio controls, push-button start with keyless entry, manual air conditioning, and power windows.
