Volkswagen Tiguan Latest Updates

The deliveries of the Volkswagen Tiguan have commenced across the country. Also, all units of the five-seater SUV have already been booked and it is sold out till the end of this year’s first quarter.

The VW Tiguan is a petrol-only offering and comes in a single fully loaded trim. It is priced at Rs 31.99 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). Its alternatives are the Jeep Compass and Citroen C5 Aircross.

Volkswagen Tiguan Engine

Volkswagen offers the facelifted Tiguan with a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out 190PS and 320Nm. It comes specced with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an all-wheel drivetrain. This engine replaces the 2-litre diesel engine found in the pre-facelift Tiguan.

The Volkswagen Tiguan is available in a single fully loaded Elegance trim.

The SUV comes in seven colour options: Nightshade Blue, Pure White, Oryx White, Deep Black, Dolphin Grey, Reflex Silver, and Kings Red.

The facelifted Volkswagen Tiguan features a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected car tech, a digital driver’s display, 30-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, tri-zone climate control, and powered driver’s seat with memory function. Safety is covered with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, electronic parking brake, reverse camera, and front and rear parking sensors.
